Psicodiagnosi
The integration of psychological instruments becomes the best card for an intervention that guarantees maximum professionalism.
Psychodiagnosis can be better focused as: continuous updating on how all the ways of thinking of a person integrate with each other, generating something more than the individual parts, something that will be more or less functional. Psychodiagnosis leads however to a diagnosis, which can be the result of a clinical interview as classically known, based on consultancies, or through the administration of psychological tests. Let us remember that the clinical interview in itself is a “psychological tool” and as such may be sufficient to determine a diagnosis. Tests can play an important part in the diagnostic process, because they become an aid to confirm diagnostic hypotheses that the therapist creates when he or she is in relationship with the client/patient. Tests are not the absolute truth, but a structured feedback that can be used to complete a diagnostic hypothesis.
